1) Hony. Secretary-General will be ex officio member & convener of all Selection committees, Coaches Education, Senior & Wheelchair & Tournament Committee. 2) VP Sport will be ex officio member of Selection & Tournament committees. Selection of all Senior teams representing India are done by a duly appointed Selection Committee comprising of former top ranked tennis players. The primary criteria for the selection of team representing India are ATP/WTA/ITF/AITA ranking of the players as well as experience and exceptional performance in the recent past (if any) as assessed by the Selection Committee. Stand by players may also be selected in case of injury to higher ranked players. Junior teams are selected primarily on the basis of AITA rankings. It is mandatory for players selected to represent India to have participated in the Nationals.
