Somdev's emphatic win over Jones
(Commonwealth Games - 2010)

SUNDAY 10, October 2010.

Somdev Devvarman took the Gold medal in Men's Singles in emphatic style with a 6-4, 6-2 victory over Greg Jones (AUS) at the R.K Khanna Tennis Stadium.

Besides this, India got 3 more medals in tennis:

  1. SANIA MIRZA - Women singles, SILVER MEDAL.
  2. MAHESH BHUPATHI & LEANDER PAES - Mens doubles - BRONZE MEDAL.
  3. SANIA MIRZA & RUSHMI CHAKRAVARTHI - Women doubles - BRONZE MEDAL.
