India beats Indonesia
(Asia Oceania World Junior tournament, Anqing)

MONDAY 03, MAY 2010.

Basil Khuma and Jude Raymond gave India a rousing start as the team recorded a 3-0 victory over Indonesia without dropping a set in a group ‘I' league match of the Asia Oceania World Junior under-14 tennis tournament in Anqing, China.

The seventh seeded India has been clubbed with the top-seeded Australia and Singapore in the group. The top two teams from each of the four groups will make it to the knock-out phase.

Results:

India beat Indonesia 3-0 (Jude Raymond bt Burhannandra Astanto 6-0, 6-3; Basil Khuma bt Mark Ginting 7-5, 6-4; Basil Khuma and Jude Raymond bt Dhimas Arganata and Mark Ginting 6-4, 6-3).
