Balachandar triumphs
(TNTA-AITA Rs. 50k Wheelchair Tennis Tournament, Chennai)

TUESDAY 17, August 2010.

S. Balachandar beat D. Mariappan 6-3, 6-3 to win the TNTA-AITA wheelchair tennis championship.

Balachandar partnered Mariappan to win the doubles title too beating Neeraj Yadav and Rajeev Virat of Delhi 6-2, 6-1.

Balachandar and Mariappan had, as part of an ITF scheme, visited England for training last month.
