Amrita Mukherjee beat third seed Rutuja Bhosale in straight sets in the semifinals to enter the finals in the girls’ under-16 category in the Sunfeast-AITA super series tennis tournament.

Amrita will face Ambika Pande, who defeated fourth seed Sneha Devi Reddy, in the final.

Boys: Doubles (final): Under-14): P. Vignesh Prabhu (TN) & Sahil Deshmukh (Mah) bt Pranav Malhotra & Garvit Batra (Del) 6-3, 6-4.

Under-16: Basil L. Khuma (Del) & T.S. Jude Raymond (AP) bt Karan Salwan (Del) & Fatehdeep Singh (Pun) 7-5, 6-4.

Girls: Under-16: Singles (semifinals): Amrita Mukherjee (Ben) bt Rutuja Bhosale (Mah) 7-6(5), 6-2; Ambika Pande (TN) bt Sneha Devi Reddy (Mah) 4-6, 6-3, 6-3.
